Regain Access to Glow City for the Brain Eaters

The Brain Eaters have been salvaging tech from Glow City. They’re able to deal with the radiation and the mutants, but now the Rusted Stilettos are harassing their salvage teams. The Brain Eaters will pay a tier 1 cash reward each if the Stilettos are put on their heels. While it isn’t a particularly glamorous or well-paying job, it would be a foot in the door with the Eaters and would lead to more profitable work driven by the info the Eaters can pull down from the Matrix, as well as giving the team a connection with deckers for their own jobs.

Drive Off the Lone Star Convoys for the Red Hot Nukes

Lone Star has been trying to take control of the major roadways through the Barrens in an attempt to at least allow passage through the territory, if not to most destinations within it. The Red Hot Nukes don’t care for this, but don’t want to escalate into a full conflict with Lone Star themselves lest they bring the organization down on them. They’d like to have some deniable assets destroy a convoy protected by Lone Star, acting as if they’re just local gangers. One rule, though, they can’t make workable roads unpassable for the Nukes themselves. The Nukes will pay a tier 1 cash reward each, and would be available as an ally when it comes to work on the major roadways in the Redmond Barrens.

Investigate the Plastic Jungle for Mama Palazzo

Mama Palazzo sometimes asks her children to venture into the thicker, wilder areas of the Plastic Jungle to bring back particular things for her. One of them has just gone missing, which matches reports about other inhabitants from nearby parts who have ventured into these areas. Mama can’t pay, but there are benefits if they can help her figure out what’s going on, put a stop to it, and rescue her son:

  • Mama acts as a free medical services supplier for the purposes of overcoming injuries.
  • Mama can supply some things she makes from what she grows and harvests from the Jungle:
    • There are dual-natured fungus in the Jungle. Mama can manufacture a spray that, if applied to someone, deposits dual-natured spores in their lungs. This would make the target trivial to track in astral space (as they would appear as a disembodied pair of lungs), intense pain if they try to move through an astral barrier, and potentially-lethal bleeding in the lungs if they actually pass through one. It also causes a cough after a few days that would likely prompt medical attention, removing the condition.
